The accelerometers/accessories options comprise standard and probe accelerometers, magnet, probes, and stud attachments, transducer leads, spanners, a carrying case.

The standard hand held vibration meters operate in combination with a 25pC/g accelerometer. Sampled data gathering, where a single transducer is transposed between monitoring points, is facilitated by use of contact probes and a hand held transducer specifically designed for probe use.

Frequencies responses relevant to use of the probes and magnet are given on Fig.1. These mechanical couplers introduce severe response constraints on the signal as seen by the transducer, but will simplify and speed the collection of low frequency data.

A magnetic transducer mount (IM/01) is useful as a temporary attachment medium to ferrous plant. The hand held AP/20/T accelerometer is intended for use assembled to a probe, which must be held normal to the plane of vibration with sufficient force to maintain contact.
